Contribution & Submissions guide

Contributions of articles, and other submissions, for Electric Press will be considered for inclusion as space, and other factors permit, subject to submissions criteria being met. Rejections or required alterations will be notified.

All inclusions are subject to the arbitrary decision of Electric Press editorial departments.

Accepted inclusions are subject to editorial processes. No discussions regarding this will be entertained.

Contributions and submissions may be accepted for publication, but deferred for a later edition, or later rejected. Such deferrals or rejections will be notified.

Submissions which do NOT follow the submissions guidelines below WILL be rejected.


High-quality images are preferred, as they reproduce better than those with a low pixel count. 

All images are subject to size change/cropping/editing, and re-formatting, dependent on layout and space available

Images must be in JPEG (JPG) or PNG format, sent as an attachment in the submissions email.

Do NOT forward PDF documents. They WILL be rejected.


Please forward all forms of text as word doc. or docx. or rtf. as attachments to the submissions email.

ALL text documentation to be submitted in Times New Roman (ONLY), NO indentations, aligned left (block), 1.5 line spaced.

Do NOT ‘layout’ or use fancy designs in word documents.

Do NOT include images and text in the same document.

Do NOT forward PDF documents. They WILL be rejected.

Our deadlines are precisely that. Deadlines. Any, and all, submissions received after a deadline has expired will NOT be accepted. (Although may be considered for later editions)

Deadlines are Midnight, (GMT/BST) the 10th day of the month preceding issue. (Unless informed otherwise.)
